Riviera Tower – ICT Project by NetWind
The Riviera Tower is a landmark residential skyscraper located in the metropolitan hub of Ellinikon, Athens. NetWind, in partnership with the renowned French company Bouygues – global specialists in hyper scale building construction – was entrusted with the complete ICT (Information & Communication Technology) infrastructure of this iconic project. The assignment followed a thorough application study to determine the optimal architecture and select the most suitable materials for long-term reliability and safety.
For the implementation of this project, NetWind utilized products of worldwide recognition.
Scope of Work
- Structured cabling was deployed across all residences and common areas to support a full range of building systems and services, including:
- Data and voice services
- Comprehensive WiFi coverage for seamless connectivity throughout all indoor and outdoor spaces
- Advanced security systems, including CCTV surveillance and access control
- Building automation systems for smart living environments
- Intercom communication networks for efficient resident interaction
- Fully integrated access control solutions for all apartments and key common areas
Building Features
The Riviera Tower consists of 50 floors, housing 176 luxury apartments and multiple common spaces on various levels, as well as the ground floor and exterior areas. Each apartment is also served by an independent FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network, providing residents with the flexibility to choose their preferred internet provider for high-speed access.
Wireless & Security Solutions
A detailed radio coverage study was conducted to guarantee robust WiFi performance in every indoor and outdoor area, utilizing an extensive network of enterprise-grade access points with fast roaming technology.
To achieve optimal coverage, a thorough WiFi coverage analysis was performed, precisely identifying the locations throughout the building and outdoor common areas where access points—both indoor and outdoor models—would be installed.
This targeted cabling and deployment approach ensures seamless wireless connectivity for all residents and visitors.
The security of residents and assets is further enhanced by the deployment of advanced CCTV cameras and integrated access control systems at all critical entry points.
